SHEDDING
It's normal for your new rug to shed some fibers during the first few weeks. You might notice fibers in your vacuum container-this is nothing to worry about. Loose and excess fibers are a common occurrence with area rugs.
SPROUTING & PILE CRUSH
Occasionally, small tufts of yarn may extend above the surface of the pile. If you notice a loose loop, do not pull it. Simply cut the excess loop and lightly burn the tip to secure it. This is normal and not a defect. Indentations from furniture sitting on the rug for extended periods can often be removed. Rub the affected area with a coin or gently moisten it using a steamer to restore the pile.
SHADING/WATERMARKING
Shading or watermarking is a natural characteristic of all pile rugs. It occurs due to slight directional changes in the pile, causing light to reflect differently on the surface. This is an inherent quality of pile rugs and not a manufac- turing defect.
